Some people fail to realize that we are not a PR agency, and our only job is to uncover the truth. It's especially ridiculous that those alleged supporters of Ukraine seem to not care about soldiers who risk their lives on a daily basis, their stories, fears, and opinions. "Freedom of the press is the cornerstone of democracy and a healthy society. Suppressing “unpleasant” stories and calling for the journalists’ silence isn’t what Ukraine stands for."

@lapatina_ what does this have to do with critique of your media? >>It's especially ridiculous that those alleged supporters of Ukraine seem to not care about soldiers who risk their lives on a daily basis, their stories, fears, and opinions.
@lapatina_ It's not about "unpleasant stories". You guys are criticized because you post lies, unverified rumors, and clear manipulations. Ukrainians do not want a source that is respected by an international audience to take those posts seriously.
@lapatina_ Some people fail to realize what country they live in and what time it is now and what is at stake. Something about a thing called allegiance. Something that cannot be faked, even if you try for some time. @lapatina_
@lapatina_ What a weird guilt trip manipulation of a post. Who do you think you are to use soldiers to cover up that you published rumours. Ukrainians, myself included, are calling you out PRECISELY because we know what Ukraine stands for and whatever you just wrote, it’s not it.
@lapatina_ Anastasia (and @KyivIndependent), I have read this editorial and agree with it. It is natural and obvious that journalists must stay for the freedom of press, and this is the value opposite to dictatorship, aggression, and violence. Please accept this brief post of support :-)
@lapatina_ You dropped something 🫴🔴
@lapatina_ you've just published a literal russian asset's doom-posting and now you're trying to paint such policies as some perverse form of "care" for Ukrainian soldiers?? this is beyond disgraceful, i feel disgusted for giving you and your media the slightest benefit of the doubt
