Also, I saw something really interesting on @ImpactWales about reducing over confidence - I liked this, if kids THINK they already know they switch off.
I highly recommend this podcast - Fin and Jane know what they're talking about.

SF's 12PPs left out findings from cog sci, which hasn't helped either - d'oh! A rallying call to do better - here's hoping!

@garein @AddysgEducation Thanks Gareth. @LloydHopkin was there and gave a talk also, and we had a productive discussion. I was encouraged to hear from both him and @AddysgEducation on Wednesday that they are thinking about scaffolding that teachers might need in implementing CfW.
