It's insane. In Romania you can repair the same product for €10 as where in Luxemburg it costs €50 (due to higher sparepart storage fees, distribution cost, labor cost etc). This is not something the EU should be pushing. Consumers should at the warranty manufacturers offer and how long they hold spare parts in stock when deciding what product to buy. Don't make my products more expensive with crazy legislation. Completely useless.

@Europarl_EN It is not cost effective to repair goods because the technology is changing to quick and support is often not offered. This leads to security problems. Phone re/upcycling with data cleansing in exchange would be more realistic and could help getting more people online.
