300+ posts later, we’re wrapping up today’s coverage from the @BruxConf2024! Thanks for following along and joining us. It was a great event, made that much better by all attendees, in-person and remote!

Closing out our final panel of the day with a great cast of speakers.
Antitrust, digital regulation, and industrial policy are different tools with one single aim: to make sure that markets serve the people, instead of narrow commercial interests. @BruxConf2024 by @Caffar3Cristina & @Capitol_Forum was the place to be today in Brussels.
The Commission feels they are "humble enforcers." Thankfully, @johnnyryan reminded them that they should not be humble, as the other side will possibly go as far as allowed to employ tricks to escape their DMA duties. @BruxConf2024
"There is a recognition that, with the onset of Web 2.0, there were missed opportunities," Khan says @BruxConf2024. "There was a sense that...it's better for the govt just to step back and get out of the way. Two decades on, we're still reeling from the ramifications of that."
